The perfect passport

I read at MacNN via VoIP about storing airline ticket information on an iPod.

For me, this is not enough.

Everytime I am at the airport waiting for my flight I cannot stop doing The Three Amigos. You know: pad yourself down for your wallet, passport and plane ticket. Then put your hands on your hips and poke your tongue out. For me it is borderline OCD. Really.

So here is my idea: we tag ourselves just like we tag our animals. Under the skin. A microchip implant.

Shock horror, I hear you gasp. You would really have yourself branded like that. Well, the short answer is yes. The long answer is that you would need to maintain the right and ability to store what you information you choose to store on it. And you should be able to turn it off.

I have christened my creation of the mind Subdermal RAM. The only problem is finding a suitable acronym, as SDRAM and SRAM are already taken. So instead, I would call this product 'Bad Ex' because it gets under your skin, just like you last bad ex-girlfriend or boyfriend.
